My trip to South Carolina was originally to have been my first glimpse of the Myrtle Beach bike rally, the crash
that put Monica in the hospital in Columbia changed that agenda.
The accident was April 22, 2008. While Monica's recovery has been painfully slow for her, by all other standards,
it has been remarkable! Prayers from one side of the continent to the other have been answered by her progress.

In the midst of it all, we pause to celebrate Andrew's day in a local CiCi's.

While Amy was glad to see me, she soon resumed her rigorous training schedule.

Home, sweet home for the guys bachin' it.

On to Georgia!

Will and Elyse's quarters on base at Ft. Benning are barely acceptable to their cat, Violet, but will have to do until until something better
comes along. (I think Will and Elyse could be said to be a bit more enthusiastic.)
Will's training progresses, and Elyse works at her new job and getting comfortable in a place where you don't have to bundle up to go out.

If you look closely, you can just see a little cat hair swirling where Elyse was standing, in perfect lighting and composition, until
the camera appeared.

Walking a cat?!!

Okay, maybe not.
